What a great opportunity thanks for giving me a chance to win this. I would love to win this because I have found that my marketing so far has been very shotgun – a bit here and bit there, with no specific target set. This year I have made goals for myself and my business for the first time in my life and one of those goals was a more targetted approach to my marketing and advertising. With that I pulled back on all things I was doing and have been researching and really being selective in my marketing choices and believe this would be a great “big bang” to get started with again.

Wow! This is just what I need. I started this small hair accessory business, The Polka Dot Crab, about a year ago since I only work Sept thru Apr as a clincal nurse educator and my husband’s business has been directly affected by the economy. My business does ok with friends and family but would love to grow the “online” part. I have been so discouraged lately trying to put in a lot of time improving my shop and promoting via twitter and FB but have gotten nothing in return. Since I am not making much I don’t have a lot of money to put into PR right now so this opporunity would be amazing!

Seems like the perfect fit…me: an imaginative glutton for learning and Holly: an imaginative bubbling fountain of information! Seriously, though, I followed all the rules (not easy for a right-brained person to do!…followed; subscribed in Google reader; added to my blogroll; subscribed to newsletter AND – ta da! Tweeted @bellalinda11! Sadly, I can’t blog, as I made a classic error and hired a family member to design my combo web/blog page and it has now been, very sadly, passed onto another person (not related to me thank goodness) to finish. Yikes!
But I digress…you wanted to know why I would love to win this contest. Well, I started this whole venture in November/December of 2009 after many years of crafting/teaching/writing/selling/designing…I’ve gone from, “I just put stuff up on etsy and millions of people will see it and buy it.” TO “Hmmm…there seems to be alot more to this online selling thing, I wonder if this was a good idea?” TO “I’ve started out not knowing anything at all and look where I am so far…I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished and need to take it to the next level.” The next logical step is to drive traffic to my site…and to quote Shakespeare, “..aye, there’s the rub.” That’s where TWAHW comes in! You’ve built a very successful site here with lots of info for all of us to learn from and I desperately want to be a bigger part of it all! Pick me! Pick me! (raising hand and fluttering it about wildly) ;-)

I would love to win this advertising package! I am still trying to get my name out there. I started the All-in-One Diaper Clutch about a year ago but I have limited funds for what I need to accomplish for Marketing and Advertising. I also notice that I get alot of referral orders where I live but I am having a really hard time getting website hits/orders. I participate alot in Twitter and Facebook and have received so much helpful information from all the wonderful mom business owners as well as wonderful connections. I would love to win a PR package to really kick start advertising for my blog and my miessence business. Our children are our future and I want everyone to learn about the dangerous chemicals in our personal care products. Infertility, ADHD, asthma, eczema, etc. can all be associated to many of the toxic ingredients permitted on our largest organ – our skin! As a SAHM, I really want to educate and supplement our income through blogging and miessence. A PR package would increase my exposure, which surely would help! Hi Holly, I have been waiting for God to finish preparing me for what he has prepared for me, LOL, try saying that 3 times and you will know how it feels to be waiting. I would like to win this prize but don’t want to use it until God makes it clear to me what I am suppose or when I am suppose to take the next step. I want to work at home again or at least be doing something I enjoy and have passion about. I love the blog and web site which was started in March but it won’t pay the bills. So if I was to win this, I would be using it to truly be a woman of influence with a God centered career sometime in the future, just don’t know when yet.

I make safe, effective (i.e. noticeable wrinkle reduction), and natural face care products. I devise all of my own formulas and have put a ton of research into the ingredients I use, but the hardest part of my job is marketing my product.
I like to imagine that I “think outside the box,” but when it comes to marketing, I’m a scientist in an advertiser’s world, which is a way of saying that I simply don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to selling my line (I’m great at talking about it, I just obviously do not say the right words). I NEED all the help and information I can get on marketing strategies, and I could really benefit from this PR package.

Hi there!
I would LOVE to win this! It would be such a great way to get my site out there. I started it about a year and a half ago to allow me the chance to stay home with my new baby. Now we have 2 babies..and I really want it to work out. We have wonderful little consignment store…ONLINE ONLY….that way moms don’t have to take their kiddos to the 2nd hand shops. I am a mompreneur owning my Virtual Assistant business for over 6 years. I have recently begun a new venture entitled Special Mompreneurs, a ning group for SAHM who run a business from home or are looking to start a business from home as they juggle caring for their special needs child. This is a wonderful group of women who would benefit from me winning this PR package as I am in the process of creating a whole new membership site for Special Mompreneurs (current site address is -http://specialmompreneurs.ning.com) to assist these moms with Support…Inspiration…and give them the abiity to Share their experiences. This group will be a place to gain education not only on how to run or start a business, but also a place for them to gain information on special needs.

I am not sure if my business would even qualify for your advertising, but it sure would be a boon for me. My ultimate goal is to be busy enough to be able to hire moms who would like to be able to be SAHM and still earn money. There are so many that left the corporate world and have experience but are finding it hard to leave their children or even find a flexible job — those are the ladies I want!! And eventually, I plan to broaden my horizons so that I can teach others what they need to do/have in place/file to start their own business as a free side perk…

I want to win this package because I need help growing my business. My home based business has been at a standstill for 5 months. I represent a company that is responsible for changing many lives. I want to help take part in changing others lives as well.I believe that me not being able to reach out to a bigger audience is why my business is not as successful as I want it to be. I feel like I just need a boost of advertisement to get the word out so I can change as many lives as I can. I do not have the funds to market my business like I want to due to financial status. However, I need to spread the word of my business so I can change one household at a time. This would really be beneficial to me and anyone I can help from being awarded with this package.
