What a great opportunity thanks for giving me a chance to win this. I would love to win this because I have found that my marketing so far has been very shotgun – a bit here and bit there, with no specific target set. This year I have made goals for myself and my business for the first time in my life and one of those goals was a more targetted approach to my marketing and advertising. With that I pulled back on all things I was doing and have been researching and really being selective in my marketing choices and believe this would be a great “big bang” to get started with again.

Wow! This is just what I need. I started this small hair accessory business, The Polka Dot Crab, about a year ago since I only work Sept thru Apr as a clincal nurse educator and my husband’s business has been directly affected by the economy. My business does ok with friends and family but would love to grow the “online” part. I have been so discouraged lately trying to put in a lot of time improving my shop and promoting via twitter and FB but have gotten nothing in return. Since I am not making much I don’t have a lot of money to put into PR right now so this opporunity would be amazing!

Seems like the perfect fit…me: an imaginative glutton for learning and Holly: an imaginative bubbling fountain of information! Seriously, though, I followed all the rules (not easy for a right-brained person to do!…followed; subscribed in Google reader; added to my blogroll; subscribed to newsletter AND – ta da! Tweeted @bellalinda11! Sadly, I can’t blog, as I made a classic error and hired a family member to design my combo web/blog page and it has now been, very sadly, passed onto another person (not related to me thank goodness) to finish. Yikes!
But I digress…you wanted to know why I would love to win this contest. Well, I started this whole venture in November/December of 2009 after many years of crafting/teaching/writing/selling/designing…I’ve gone from, “I just put stuff up on etsy and millions of people will see it and buy it.” TO “Hmmm…there seems to be alot more to this online selling thing, I wonder if this was a good idea?” TO “I’ve started out not knowing anything at all and look where I am so far…I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished and need to take it to the next level.” The next logical step is to drive traffic to my site…and to quote Shakespeare, “..aye, there’s the rub.” That’s where TWAHW comes in! You’ve built a very successful site here with lots of info for all of us to learn from and I desperately want to be a bigger part of it all! Pick me! Pick me! (raising hand and fluttering it about wildly) ;-)
I would love to win. I find myself between jobs, so I’m using the opportunity to really push my business and see if I can’t make it a full-time option. Doing it on a shoe-shine budget makes it challenging, and winning this sure would be an incredible boost.

I would love to win this advertising package! I am still trying to get my name out there. I started the All-in-One Diaper Clutch about a year ago but I have limited funds for what I need to accomplish for Marketing and Advertising. I also notice that I get alot of referral orders where I live but I am having a really hard time getting website hits/orders. I participate alot in Twitter and Facebook and have received so much helpful information from all the wonderful mom business owners as well as wonderful connections. I would love to win a PR package to really kick start advertising for my blog and my miessence business. Our children are our future and I want everyone to learn about the dangerous chemicals in our personal care products. Infertility, ADHD, asthma, eczema, etc. can all be associated to many of the toxic ingredients permitted on our largest organ – our skin! As a SAHM, I really want to educate and supplement our income through blogging and miessence. A PR package would increase my exposure, which surely would help! Hi Holly, I have been waiting for God to finish preparing me for what he has prepared for me, LOL, try saying that 3 times and you will know how it feels to be waiting. I would like to win this prize but don’t want to use it until God makes it clear to me what I am suppose or when I am suppose to take the next step. I want to work at home again or at least be doing something I enjoy and have passion about. I love the blog and web site which was started in March but it won’t pay the bills. So if I was to win this, I would be using it to truly be a woman of influence with a God centered career sometime in the future, just don’t know when yet.
