Earn More Money From Your Direct Sales Business

Earn More Money from Your Direct Sales BusinessBy Deb Bixler

Have you heard the phrase “Consistent Activity = Consistent Income”?

It’s fairly simple yet has far reaching implications …

Let’s ask the question, consistent at what?

Does consistently making customer service calls equal consistent income?

Does consistently working your business equal consistent income?

Yes, we all understand that this phrase means we have to consistently be putting into action systems that lead us down the road of successful entrepreneurship.

How do you begin to put such systems together?

First, break your business into the basic areas of focus.

What is your business model? As an example, let’s look at the “party plan profession” (but these same principles can be applied to any business.)

You’ve heard it before, “Book, Sell, Recruit!”

Sounds simple enough; let’s start there. (more…)

How to Become a Successful Party Plan Consultant

How to Become a Successful Party Plan ConsultantBy Angie Nelson

You’ve just signed up as a party plan independent consultant and you’re excited and eager to get going on what you hope will be a lucrative career in direct selling. You’re impressed by the business plan and believe in the income potential that could be yours in exchange for hard work and determination. You’ve probably invested some money in the products you’ll be selling, in marketing literature and in product training. But what do you really need to know during those first, few critical months to help you establish a solid business in direct sales?

Here are a few ideas to help you.

1. It’s essential that you like, believe in, use and be seen to use the products you’re selling.

If you don’t, then you’re never going to convince potential customers to buy and, more importantly, to keep buying and recommending the products to others.

2. Prepare thoroughly for your first party presentation.

Write out your presentation, practice delivering it, and think of all the questions you may be asked. Pay particular attention to any aspects of the product that may attract negative comments or difficult questions and have answers ready. (more…)

Dakomoda – Sell High End Kids Clothing From Home

Dakomoda - Sell High End Kids Clothing From HomeBy Holly Reisem Hanna

I adore fashion! And being a mom allows me to indulge in that passion on a whole new level. That’s why I was so excited to review this new home-based business opportunity with Dakomoda.

The Brand.

In 2014 Elena and David Kohina launched a designer clothing line for children — with the stipulation that it be sold at affordable prices. They’ve taken the finest fabrics and materials and paired it with expert craftsmanship to create a line that is luxurious, durable, and fashionable. But how are they able to maintain the line’s affordability? Good question. To keep operating costs down Dakomoda is only sold online and via Direct Sales Partners, so they’re able to deliver high end clothing at affordable prices.

The Clothing.

Dakomoda sells both girls and boys clothing, sizes 0 – 3 months to as large as size 6T. Prices range from $21.50 – $109.00. Looking at the catalog online the clothes look stylish, but when you get to feel and touch them in person – wow, the quality really stands out. (more…)

Goal Setting for Work at Home Moms

Goal Setting for Work at Home MomsBy Deb Bixler

Many women who start working from home do so because they have children and plan to supplement the family income without taking time away from the kids. The work at home moms (WAHM) who actually succeed, do so because they have established clear goals for their home-based business.

Work At Home Goal Setting

The key to achieving your work at home goals is simple. It boils down to only one question.

  • What is enough?
  • Are you scheduling enough time to accomplish your goals for your business?
  • Are you giving yourself enough time to manage your business?

It is really not about time management. It is more about commitment management!

Most people completely underestimate the time required for a project or necessary to achieve the desired results from their business. There are all kinds of projects, or activities that we underestimate all the time. (more…)
