Audible – The Way to Squeeze Reading into Your Busy Day

By Holly Reisem Hanna

Last year The Work at Home Woman hosted a Business Book Club, where every couple of months participants would read and discuss a new business book. While there was a lot of interest expressed in the group, the biggest complaint that I heard from participants, is that there wasn’t enough time in the day to sit down and do the required reading.

Many of these women were juggling full-time jobs, busy family schedules and part-time businesses. Participation in the club was so low, that I decided to write an article specifically for these women on ways to save time – it didn’t help. Atlas, I finally decided to shut-down the club. (more…)

What makes perfect sense and works effortlessly for me and my kids, would be a complete nightmare for another family. (more…)

By Milissa Harding

When you think of “balance”, what generally comes to mind? If you’re like most people, balance conjures thoughts of giving equal attention to every aspect of your life, like the pieces of a pie. This way of thinking leads people (especially busy work at home moms!) to feel quite pressured, as they struggle to give everything a “little bit” of their time. It can be difficult to feel successful when we’re being pulled in so many different directions at once.

As a Health Coach, I teach my clients to view the concept of balance differently. I ask my clients to think about their level of satisfaction in various areas of their lives. When they think about this, they quickly realize that their idea of balance is different than another person’s, and that this is completely okay. (more…)

From Zero to Abundance in 15 Seconds

By Tami Gomez

I’m an information junky. The more info I can cram into my head, the more information I can share with you. The problem with information is that unless we put what we learn into action, it’s useless – plain and simple.

I try to spend at least 30 minute each day expanding my knowledge of Personal Development. I might spend that time researching the latest news in my industry or testing a new philosophy that I’ve come up with. I split my time between running a full-time Company, coaching clients from around the world, fulfilling speaking engagements and spending time with my family. Sometimes it’s a challenge just to find a few extra minutes for myself but I make sure I find the time because if I want to continue to manifest all of the things I want in life, I have to be disciplined in my efforts.
