Skillshare is an online learning community that hosts over 17,000 online classes in a variety of topics. Think you want to start a graphic design business from home? They got you covered. Or is social media and blogging more your thing? With Skillshare you can create a custom curriculum based specifically on your needs and passions, and best of all, it's budget-friendly – only $15 a month for as many courses as you want to consume!
At Lynda.com you can test-drive courses in business, technology, and creative skills free for ten days. After the trial period is over, it's only $19.99 a month. What I like about Lynda is it's a branch of LinkedIn (so you know it's reputable), and they have learning paths which can teach you a whole new career, such as graphic design.
Another place to search for free online courses is Udemy. Many of their online instructors offer free courses in development, business, IT, personal growth, design, marketing, and more. I've never tried Udemy, but their website boasts more 42,000 different courses and all you need to do is search for the keyword free.
Looking for online courses that can be completed in as little as ten weeks? The Muse has a great list of 43 free career-advancing courses, and all of them are free. The majority of the list contains tech courses, but there are also some courses for public speaking, email marketing, speech writing, and more. Definitely worth checking out.
Are you more of an artsy and crafty type? Then check out Craftsy, they have a bunch of free online classes that revolve around arts and crafts. So if you're interested in selling your wares on Etsy, this would be a good resource to check out.
The last resource I have for you is from Moms Make Cents. Her list contains 35+ free online courses for bloggers and business owners.
