By Holly Reisem Hanna

Have you joined the Pinterest craze?

It seems everywhere you look somebody new is talking about Pinterest, and there is good reason why. Not only is Pinterest getting rave reviews from major tech players and social media gurus, but small business owners, mom bloggers and even job seekers have been able to cash in on this new social media craze.

Seeing as how I am pretty addicted to this site myself, I can see me bookmarking this page and browsing through these great resources. Pinterest is huge and I can’t wait to start using it more for promotion. Thank you Holly!

Hi Anna – I’m totally addicted to Pinterest too! Every time I saw a new article on it, I’d get all excited… which is what promoted me to write this list. There’s a Pinterest plugin too, which allows you to add the “pin it” button to your posts. Happy pinning!

You have the most comprehensive informative site I have come across in a long time! Well done! There is so much I need to look at and more I want to ask you. I am using Pinterest, Google+, Facebook and Twitter with a little LinkedIn thrown in as my SN’s for my business. Engagement is great on twitter and pinterest but poor elsewhere. I can’t see where I am going wrong on my site either? Lots of postive feedback but still high bounce rate? What am I missing? Need more photos yes! but other areas?

Pinterest is the place to be especially if you are promoting products related to women. Studies show that about 82% of visitors to pinterest are women.

Another aspect that favors pinterest from other social site is because of images. Ideally, people would rather look and click on images than read written content. If you ask me Pinterest is the next big thing on the web. Watch this space

Business blogs and personal blogs generally exist for one reason: generating income. Keeping this concept in mind, it is not difficult to write for a business blog. Just be sure to follow these steps and you will be on your way to making money, too. Determine if you need to mention the name of the web site or specific products in the article.
