Have you ever heard of the impression of increase? In other words, people are always looking for more. More money, more clients, more energy, more happiness, more health. It’s something all of us, actually, every living thing, is searching for at all times.
There are two ways the impression of increase is specifically important to women who work-from-home.
People hire you because they want your help to create an increase in their lives or business – an increase in happiness, an increase in profits, an increase in beauty.
In your marketing and your conversations, you must not only convince your prospects that working with you will bring an increase to their lives or business, but also that you embody increase yourself. You can’t look sloppy or sound like a struggling entrepreneur and have the impression of increase at the same time.
Not only should your personal self embody the impression of increase, but so should all your marketing materials.
You are selling increase. Always.
Create the impression that simply being around you, not to mention working with you, creates more. You create advancement – more life, more friends, more fun. Beware — don’t brag or talk about yourself all the time in order to create this impression. The impression of increase is simply the act of how you are being or feeling.
In the classic book “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Wattles he devotes an entire chapter to this topic. In his book, Wattles states:
“The desire for increase is inherent in all nature; it is the fundamental impulse of the universe … Every living thing is under this necessity for continuous advancement; where increase of life ceases, dissolution and death set in at once.”
The impression of increase is one of skill set successful women that work-at-home embody in their everyday transactions, as well as their marketing and communications. Take an honest look at what you do and how you present yourself and your business. Everything from the clothes you wear to your posture to the tone of your voice should create the impression of increase. Keeping the thought of increase in mind will also take your business to the next level as you are being hired to create the impression of increase for your clients.
Remember increase is good. Increase = more life.
