6 Cool Online Tools to Make Your Life Easier

Make Your Life EasierBy Amyli McDaniel

One of the secrets of success for a work at home woman is to be able to make the most of our time. We need to become experts in time management. In today’s world, a lot of our time is spent on our computer, our phone or other electronic devices.

Thankfully, there are many great tools out there that can help us to get more done in both our professional and our personal lives. Here are 6 cool tools that really help me to get more done each and every day. . . and hopefully can help you too!

Evernote

This program is an amazing tool for organizing everything that you come across each day on your computer. It is a simple one click process to intelligently file all your documents, images, websites, articles, contacts, everything!

There is a reason it is the #1 recommended productivity tool. It has been proven to save time and created more organized lives for tens of thousands of users.

Swift Player

Video is quickly becoming the primary way that people consume content on the Internet. In business, there are so much video and audio content that can help us bring our businesses and careers to the next level.

The biggest challenge is finding the time to watch these videos! Swift Player is an app that allows you to listen to video or audio files at double or triple the speed.

Prismatic

Prismatic is an intelligent tool for helping you remain current on topics that matter to you. It pulls in content from the Internet based on topics you care about and it learns what you like and adjusts the content over time.

Beware: Because Prismatic is so good at what it does, it can become addicting! Don’t let it cause you to spend more time reading all the great material-set a time limit for your reading time.

Instapaper

This is another great and easy to use tool for easily saving web pages that you may want to read later. It is so much more intuitive than bookmarking and you are able to read your saved material on different devices (like your tablets, smartphones and e-readers).

LastPass

This is a secure tool for managing passwords. This one has added so much more sanity to my life. Now all I have to remember is one password (for LastPass) and I am able to easily retrieve and sign on to the many, many accounts I have and use throughout the day.

Honey

Honey is one of my favorite personal tools. This is an extension for Google Chrome that goes and finds coupon codes when you are on the Internet shopping. It’s pretty cool to have a relevant coupon pop up that will decrease your shopping costs as you are shopping!

Increasing your productivity should be a never-ending goal and finding tools to help you do just that can change your life and your success.

I would love to hear what tools you use to get more done. Share below!

Thank you for sharing the tools.

Evernote is a great service that I’ve been paying for quite some time. It’s amazing how I can just dump everything possible into it and still manage to find them later. I’m even using it as a personal task management app now since it introduced the Reminders feature.

I also rely completely on Lastpass for password management.

Another tool that has helped me a lot will be Trello. I use it for project management, scheduling of social media postings, content creation and many more. Best of all, it’s simple and free to use.
